Buster

This handsome boy is Buster, and he is owned by Victoria and Brian Christi of New York City, New York. Victoria says they live right in the heart of midtown Manhattan.

Buster was born on August 8, 1998. Victoria and Brian saw him on the internet and bought him from a breeder in Long Island. Victoria says they fell in love with him because he had an "attitude." :o) She says it was the cutest thing..........everytime one of his brothers or sisters would stand on him, he would get all cranky and yap at them! :o)

Victoria says that they smuggled him back into the city on the Long Island Railroad, and he slept like a baby the whole way. :o)

Buster's favorite things include his sister Spooky, his enormous tennis ball.....the size of a soccer ball, new toys......and ANY stuffed toy. He is such a good kid when he gets new toys, and plays with them all.

He loves going to the playground on the Hudson River to play with all his furfriends.

He loves any person or other dog that he ever meets. He also loves to go to daycare. Victoria and Brian send him there when the weather is not so nice, and he gets to play inside in a huge room all day with three or four other dogs . He is known as the "dog that ATE the energizer bunny!" :o)

We haven't quite figured out what Buster is jumping for in this picture, but it sure looks interesting. Victoria, what is it? Victoria says that Buster is a super sweet boy! He is finally coming to terms with the fact that he is now getting bigger! He doesn't understand why mommy's legs go numb when he sits on her lap.

He loves to play all day with his sister and when they fall asleep, they are usually cuddling with paws around each other. Buster sleeps with his sister, Victoria and Brian every night. And what boxer doesn't sleep with mommy and daddy? Gosh, don't think we know of any...........:o)

Victoria says that his funniest trip to the vet was for a black eye that he got at daycare! Now that sounds just like a kid doesn't it?! :o) He loves going to the vet to say hi to everyone, and he loves riding in yellow cabs. Boy Buster, your a brave one! The last time I rode in a cab in New York City, I thought I'd die of fright, lol!

It's Playtime!!!

Awww, the picture to the right is Victoria and Brian holding Buster the first day that they got him. He's soooo cute! To the left, Buster is getting a nice cold drink.

Awww, Buster is sooooo cute! It looks like he really enjoys his time at the park on the river, playing with all the other dogs! Victoria says that Buster definitely doesn't like to swim though.

He has a neighborhood fan club and "does the rounds" every time they walk him around the block, which is at least 5 times a day.

At home, he isn't so gentle with their cat Bradley.......he puts her head in his mouth and drags her, but she seems to put up with it! She must really love Buster, otherwise she'd smack him! :o)

Apart from basic obedience his two tricks are giving a "High Five" and a double "High Five"...........but he sometimes rolls backwards when giving the double!

Victoria says that they are really fortunate to have Buster, and that they love him very much.

We can understand why, Buster is a very special little guy! We thank you for sharing Buster with all of us Victoria and Brian. We are so pleased to welcome him as the newest member of the Boxer Brigade! 7/28/99.
