a princess, and then on the other hand, she is like a warrior.
She is very tough and likes to play with mommy and daddy at all
times. She handles all roughhousing the neighborhood kids put on
her. "She has such personality!" says Krystal. The
personality of a person indeed. Krystal says that at times it
actually seems as though she completely understands what they are
saying to her. She has all the characteristics that boxers are
known for. She is very inquisitive. She can't stand to be away
from them at any time. She loves to sleep with them. Every night
she ends up on Krystal's side of the bed, on top of her pillow
and on top of her head. She doesn't know who snores louder, Xena,
or her husband, although she would bet that Xena has him beat by

actually a water toy that holds and soaks up water when wet, and
when they play catch with her, she loves when the water gushes
out in her mouth. She also loves her chew toys and bones.

he puts her on the bed and she pounces on Krystal's head, licking
her profusely on her ears and head, and she chews on Krystal's
hair! Either she is telling Krystal to wake up or she is telling
her to get off her pillow. Krystal says that she loves to crawl
and inch toward her toys (very sneakily) and then pounce on them.

Krystal
says that one of the most memorable moments with Xena was playing
detective and trying to figure out how Xena was escaping her
crate. She has a huge crate and playpen area to stay in while
they are away at work. She stays in the basement at home during
the day and when they would come back home Xena would be waiting
at the top of the steps for them with the expression on her face
that says "Where have you two been all day!". They
would crack up laughing and say "Xena! How did you
escape"? They had to literally leave the house and go into
the back yard to peek into the basement to find out how she was
escaping, and SHE WOULDN'T do it! It was like she knew they were
watching her. Finally, they decided to videotape and found that
she was climbing up the side and jumping over the top of the play
yard area ( it is about 3 to 4 feet tall). LOL, leave it to a
boxer!

The
second most extreme stunt was when they were at the PetSmart
buying some items for Xena and she was at the store with them.
She loves mingling with the other pets at the store. Anyway, they
put Xena in the car while they were loading the items in the
trunk and Xena pressed the door lock button and locked all the
doors. SOOOO, they had to call the police to come and jimmy the
locks. They tried everything!!! Trying to get her excited to get
her to step on the button again was to no avail. Finally, the
police show up on the scene, and as soon as they approach the
driver side door, Xena gets excited and starts jumping around and
steps on the automatic window button, and the window rolls all
the way down. the the police officer asked Xena, "Can I see
your license and registration please?" LOLOL!!! It was
SOOOOO funny the whole parking lot was laughing hysterically.

Michael and Krystal, you really have had some adventures with
Xena, and something tells me, your going to be having LOTS more
too. What a darling little girl she is, and you all make a

us, we have really enjoyed Xena's story! We are so proud to
welcome Xena to the Boxer Brigade as it's newest member.
